Smokey
 Hi folks, I'm Smokey! I am a wonderful Keeshond boy, I love to play with other dogs and I love people especially kids! I was a very neglected dog and rescue knows of at least two owners who did not take care of me at all. When I came into foster care in 2009 I was a very sick/damaged boy. I was infested with fleas so badly that I chewed two of my legs so raw for so long they do not believe my hair will ever grow back in. I was also 10+ pounds underweight; I was very lucky that there was nothing else wrong with me! I've put on a lot of weight and feel much better although I'm still having some allergy issues. I'm finally ready for a new home of my own and I'm so excited! I have lots of energy, I love to play, go for walks and spend time in the big back yard here at my foster Mom's house! I'm 10 years old with the energy of a 5 year old, and I play with the younger dogs here to prove it! Please consider a boy who's got some good years behind him and many more to go; consider giving a Smokey boy a home with you... plus look at my picture, I'm very handsome! Smokey is neutered, up to date with shots, knows sit, off, lay down and he doesn't mind being brushed or having his nails clipped! Smokey's a great dog that will allow you to do anything; a gentle soul who's big for a Keeshond at 20+ inches to his shoulder and 50+ pounds of pure love!
